This plan is designed to give you results in five weeks. I received this book hoping that it would be something I would use, since I have already bought tons of weight loss books. It was wonderful, there are so many great receipes and they seriously were really easy to make. And trust me, I am not a cook at all, so they are really easy. I am also a very picky eater, so it is also hard for me to find a weight loss book with food I would eat. But most of these foods are yummy. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. :)2) Great! I've purchased my share of diet books but finally found my last one. There are a ton of great recipies that fit perfectly with Harley's workout plan. He backs it up with a wealth of knowlege which he conveys in a very simple, easy to understand read. I checked out his celebrity client list for living proof and that doesn't lie. I've never written a review before but had to because I know, by so many trials and errors, how hard it is to find good information on how to be truly healthy and not just be duped by the next diet fad. Trust me, this is the one! I've only had the book for a month and I not only feel great, but have dropped nine pounds by eating better tasting food than all my other twenty or so other diet books on my shelf, combined. I've had this book for a couple of weeks, and bought it despite my disdain for "dieting." If for no other reason, buy it for the recipes. They are simple, low in fat, high in protein and generally produce two servings, sometimes large servings. This is not a book that advises you to drastically cut calories. I really like this book. I just finished reading it and am excited to get started. I do think the meals look rather simple, which is very imoprtant to me. I have one complaint, though. I wish each recipe included total calories, grams of protein, carbs and fat. Based on my current weight, I am not sure how many calories I need to eat and in what ratio. He gives you sample menues but if I were a 200 pound man, wouldn't I need a different amount of calories? I have been following the 5 factor program for 7 months now and have obtained desired results from it. I have also recommended it to 5 friends (not part of the 5 factor paradigm...) and they found it to be the most practical and result-oriented program. All of them have lost weight and this is the only program that they have been able to stick with...so adios
